West Bengal Health Recruitment Board – Online applications are invited from Indian Citizens and such other nationals as declared eligible by the Government of India for recruitment to the posts of Tutor/Demonstrator in 47 disciplines in the cadre of West Bengal Medical Education Service under Health & Family Welfare Department, Government of West Bengal. Online Registration will be allowed on the website between 03.11.2020 to 10.11.2020 (before 8.00 P.M.). Posts are temporary but likely to be permanent.
Tutor/Demonstrator – 891 posts
Educational Qualification :
i) MBBS Degree from MCI recognized University in accordance with the regulation made by the Medical Council of India and included in the First or Second Schedule or Part II of the Third Schedule of the Indian Medical Council Act,1956(102 of 1956)
ii) Weightage will be given to candidates holding recognized Postgraduate Degree the disciplines under the Specialities Group and recognized Post Doctoral Degree (for disciplines under the Super Specialities Group) in the concerned discipline in accordance with the “Minimum Qualifications for Teachers in Medical Institutions Regulations,1998” framed by the Medical Council of India, published in Part-III, Section-4 of the Gazette of India, dated the 5th day of December,1998, as subsequently amended, and which are included in the First or Second or Third Schedule of the Indian Medical Council Act,1956(102 of 1956).
Age: Not more than 45 years as on 1st. January, 2020 i.e. relaxation may be given to such doctors who have served under this State Government to an extent equivalent to the period of such service, subject to a maximum of five years.
Provided that age may be relaxable for the candidates belonging to the categories of SC, ST and Other Backward Classes as per Government Rules or Orders issued from time to time.
